Nutrient Management

Nutrient management is a critical component of successful, sustainable citrus farming.  Optimum yield and quality depend on having the right amount of nutrients in the right place at the right time.  The citrus industry was one of the first to make the transition to drip or micro-irrigation and over the past twenty years the industry has made significant advances in irrigation and nutrient management.

As ongoing research and advances in technology provide new tools, citrus growers are continuing to improve practices that increase profitability and that are more protective of the environment; continuing the trend toward a healthy environment and a sustainable future.
