CCM Director of Government Relations, Jacob Villagomez, will be joining the State of the Fresh Fruit Industry Panel at the Grape, Nut and Tree Fruit Expo at the Fresno Fairgrounds on November 14, 2025. This event is intended for growers, PCAs, and CCAs from around the Valley to obtain much-needed Continuing Education credits at no expense.

Presentation topics and seminars will include:

• State of the almond, fresh fruit, pecan, pistachio, raisin, walnut and wine grape Industry presentations
• Rat infestation concerns
• Optimizing nitrogen and water use efficiency on the farm
• Recent carpophilus beetle and red leaf blotch threat in tree nuts
• New raisin varieties and trellising systems
• Orchard and vineyard pest/disease/weed management
• An update on pesticide laws and regulations

Five hours of PCA Credits, 6 CCA Credits and 1 INMP Credit will be granted. The event will also feature a complimentary breakfast and tri-tip lunch, as well as an industry trade show. This event is free to attend.
