Volume 49, No. 20 – May 14, 2026
Disclaimer: The navel prices listed below are reported to CCM from various industry representatives each week. The lemon and grapefruit prices are pulled from USDA and reflect the spot market price. Both sets of data represent a range of prices that are then calculated into an average. Growers should consult their packing houses if they have specific questions about the price they are receiving for their fruit.

Navels
Navels are over 80% harvested. Advanced maturity and an abundance of large fruit have posed plenty of challenges this season. Soft fruit, puff, granulation and low acidity levels have hurt pack-outs and exportability. On the bright side, declining domestic supply seems to be supporting some positive pricing movement over the past few weeks. Hopefully, this trend continues as we finish out the season.
Below are the week 19 pricing averages. Peak sizes were 56s, 72s and 48. Utilization was around 80%.

Lemons
*Please note that these lemon prices are from the USDA and include other costs. The prices are used to evaluate trends. They do not reflect the returns growers receive but rather voluntary prices reported to the USDA.
D1 lemons are over 90% harvested, and so far, we’ve experienced a smooth transition into the bulk of the D2 lemon season. D2 lemons are over 30% harvested and the season is said to be up to 6 weeks ahead of schedule. Fruit sizing is large, but quality, demand and pricing are strong. Overall, the current lemon market is said to be healthier than some expected earlier in the year.
Below are the week 19 pricing averages. Peak sizes are around 140s, 115s and 165s.
