Volume 49, No. 18 – April 30, 2026
Disclaimer: The navel prices listed below are reported to CCM from various industry representatives each week. The lemon and grapefruit prices are pulled from USDA and reflect the spot market price. Both sets of data represent a range of prices that are then calculated into an average. Growers should consult their packing houses if they have specific questions about the price they are receiving for their fruit.

Navels
Navels are around 80% harvested. Advanced maturity and unusually large fruit sizing this season have, in part, contributed to quality issues like soft fruit, granulation, fruit puff and low acidity levels – negatively affecting pack-outs. We’ve also seen a recent decrease in export volumes as fruit is not holding as well. That said, there are hopes that pricing could firm up a bit as supply continues to tighten up.
Below are the week 17 pricing averages. Peak sizes were 56s and 72s, followed by 88s. Utilization was around 80%.

Lemons
*Please note that these lemon prices are from the USDA and include other costs. The prices are used to evaluate trends. They do not reflect the returns growers receive but rather voluntary prices reported to the USDA.
D1 lemons are around 90% harvested. Fruit sizing has been large, but quality and demand have been strong. Peak sizing in D1 has been around 115s, 95s, 75s, and 140s. D2 lemons are around 30% harvested and the season is off to a strong start as weather and growing conditions have been good. Fruit sizing in D2 is also said to be large, but seemingly more manageable than the large sizing we’ve seen out of D1. Peak sizing in D2 was around 140s, 115s and 165s. We are expecting a smooth transition as D1 lemon harvesting slows down, and D2 lemon harvesting picks up.
Below are the week 17 pricing averages.
