Volume 49, No. 17 – April 23, 2026
Disclaimer: The navel prices listed below are reported to CCM from various industry representatives each week. The lemon and grapefruit prices are pulled from USDA and reflect the spot market price. Both sets of data represent a range of prices that are then calculated into an average. Growers should consult their packing houses if they have specific questions about the price they are receiving for their fruit.

Navels
Navels are around 80% harvested. Quality concerns such as soft fruit, granulation, fruit puff and low acidity levels continue to be a concern. Fruit drop has also been noted. Some of the quality issues can be attributed to the unusually large fruit sizing this season, as such large fruit typically does not hold as well. This has also led to a decrease in recent export volumes. That said, overall demand remains strong, and there are hopes that pricing could firm up a bit as supply continues to tighten up.
Below are the week 16 pricing averages. Peak sizes were 56s, 72s and 88s. Utilization was around 80%.

Lemons
*Please note that these lemon prices are from the USDA and include other costs. The prices are used to evaluate trends. They do not reflect the returns growers receive but rather voluntary prices reported to the USDA.
D1 lemons are around 85% harvested. Fruit sizing has been large, but quality and demand have been strong. Import pressure is reportedly low for this time of year, but could change in the coming weeks as supply tightens in D1. Peak sizing in D1 has been around 115s, 95s, 75s, and 140s. The D1 lemon season looks to finish strong as we transition into the heart of the D2 lemon season. That said, D2 lemons are around 30% harvested and the season is off to a strong start. Weather and growing conditions have been good. It has been noted that fruit in the northern parts of D2 is larger than the fruit in southern D2. Peak sizing in D2 has been around 140s, 115s and 165s.
Below are the week 16 pricing averages.
