Both sets of data represent a range of prices that are then calculated into an average. Growers should consult their packing houses if they have specific questions about the price they are receiving for their fruit.

Navels
Navels are starting to move in larger volumes as the season progresses, but we are still in the early stages. Overall, we’re hearing that this navels crop should be a good one. A common sentiment shared in the industry is that, compared to last season, fruit count is down, and fruit sizing is up. We expect similar overall volume to last season. The improved sizing, along with high fruit quality, will hopefully contribute towards a strong season with solid pricing and grower returns. Please see below our navels pricing averages for week 44. Peak sizes were 88s, 72s and 113s. Utilization was around 80%.

Lemons

D2 lemon harvesting has concluded for the most part. Lemon harvesting has just begun in D1 and is around 25% through in D3. Overall, we’ve seen good fruit appearance, other than some spotty thrips damage. Utilization has been strong, and peak sizes are 115s, 140s, and 165s. Although it’s still early, it’s been a strong start to the D1 and D3 lemon seasons.

Orange Juice
- Futures price as of October 31, 2025, is down from last week at 169 or $1.69 per pound solid.
- Futures price at the start of the Valencia season, on April 15, 2025, was 306 or $3.06 per pound solid.
