Volume 48, No. 41 – October 9, 2025
Disclaimer: The navel prices listed below are reported to CCM from various industry representatives each week. The lemon and grapefruit prices are pulled from USDA and reflect the spot market price. Both sets of data represent a range of prices that are then calculated into an average. Growers should consult their packing houses if they have specific questions about the price they are receiving for their fruit.

Valencias
At this very late stage of the valencia season, with an increasingly limited supply, we no longer have sufficient pricing data to report. We will soon begin reporting pricing data on navels as the season is expected to start in the next few weeks.
Season recap: It was a strong season for vals, despite a later start than usual. The crop was of good size with decent fruit appearance. Prices trended upwards as the season progressed, which is not atypical as there can be an overlapping supply of navels on the market during the early stages of the val season. We observed increasingly favorable pricing towards the end of the season, partly due to a limited supply of imports and the tightening of domestic supply. Overall, pricing was solid and utilization stood near the mid-70s. We expect a similar crop next season and hope that these favorable market conditions will continue into the navels season, which should kick off soon.

Lemons
*Please note that these lemon prices are from the USDA and include other costs. The prices are used to evaluate trends. They do not reflect the returns growers receive but rather voluntary prices reported to the USDA.
With the D2 lemon season slowing down, the crop has been well-sized and prices have remained relatively steady. Harvesting has already begun on D3 lemons and D1 lemons will start up shortly. Overall, supply is expected to align similarly to last season. We expect D2 lemons to pick back up in November.
