Volume 48, No. 40 – October 2, 2025

Disclaimer: The navel prices listed below are reported to CCM from various industry representatives each week. The lemon and grapefruit prices are pulled from USDA and reflect the spot market price. Both sets of data represent a range of prices that are then calculated into an average. Growers should consult their packing houses if they have specific questions about the price they are receiving for their fruit.

Valencias

Vals are over 80% harvested. Despite the late start to the season, market conditions have been strong, and fruit is moving well as we reach the final stretch. Prices are still climbing for our increasingly limited supply of smaller fruit, and we’re now seeing improved pricing for larger fruit sizes. Peak sizes were 88s, followed by 113s and 72s. Utilization stands at 78%.

Lemons

As the D2 lemon season winds down, the crop has been well-sized and prices have remained relatively steady. Harvesting has already begun on D3 lemons and D1 lemons will start up shortly. Overall, supply is expected to align similarly to last season. We expect D2 lemons to pick back up in November.

*Please note that these lemon prices are from the USDA and include other costs. The prices are used to evaluate trends. They do not reflect the returns growers receive but rather voluntary prices reported to the USDA.
