Volume 48, No. 37 – September 11, 2025
Disclaimer: The navel prices listed below are reported to CCM from various industry representatives each week. The lemon and grapefruit prices are pulled from USDA and reflect the spot market price. Both sets of data represent a range of prices that are then calculated into an average. Growers should consult their packing houses if they have specific questions about the price they are receiving for their fruit.

Valencias
Vals are around 70% harvested and moving well. Although a late start to the season put the industry further behind schedule than usual, current momentum suggests a strong finish.
As we transition into the tail end of the season, we’re seeing favorable market conditions, partly driven by a smaller supply of imports. Between tighter supply and a responsive market, we’re seeing prices continue to climb for small fruit, especially 113s and 138s. Peak sizes were 88s, followed by 113s and 72s.
Utilization stands at 78%. Overall, the crop has been good with decent fruit appearance.

Lemons
*Please note that these lemon prices are from the USDA and include other costs. The prices are used to evaluate trends. They do not reflect the returns growers receive but rather voluntary prices reported to the USDA.
The D2 lemon season should be finishing up in the next few weeks. Supply has been approximately 10-15% lower than last season, partly due to reduced import volumes. Despite the dip in supply, the crop has been well-sized, and prices have remained relatively steady.
Harvest on D3 lemons is ramping up, and supply levels are expected to align similarly to last season. D1 lemons will get going shortly, and we expect the D2 lemon season to start back up around early November.
Please see our Lemon Import Report for more details on imports.
