We are pleased to announce that Diego Cruz has joined the CCM team as our new Director of Grower Services. Diego comes to us from Congressman Jim Costa’s office, where he spent the last two years working as the Congressman’s Agriculture Representative. There, Diego spearheaded communication efforts with stakeholders, legislative teams, federal agencies, and the Congressman to ensure effective representation of district needs in agriculture, labor, water, and more.
“We are excited to have Diego join our team in this vital role,” said CCM President/CEO Casey Creamer. “His experience working as a bridge between agriculture and the Congressman will serve him well as he works to enhance our member programs and act as a liaison between citrus growers and the organization.”
Diego’s role at CCM will include managing and expanding grower benefit programs and supporting the team’s advocacy-related efforts at the Federal, State, and local levels.
Diego is a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Agricultural Science.
