Volume 48, No. 31 – July 31, 2025

Disclaimer: The navel prices listed below are reported to CCM from various industry representatives each week. The lemon and grapefruit prices are pulled from USDA and reflect the spot market price. Both sets of data represent a range of prices that are then calculated into an average. Growers should consult their packing houses if they have specific questions about the price they are receiving for their fruit.

Valencias

Prices remained fairly steady this week for larger fruit. Smaller fruit did see a jump in price, as expected, as the school year nears. Volume is down from last year, which should be good for prices overall. We are hearing some reports of fruit that is on the smaller side, which could lead to harvests into late September or even early October as growers wait for the fruit to size up. We are not hearing of reports of any pest problems.

Lemons

Prices rose once again last week for lemons, with fancy 140s seeing the most significant increase. According to USDA pricing, lemons are an average of about 6$ higher than what we saw at the start of D2 harvests. Lemon imports continue to rise, especially from Argentina. For details about imports, we recommend consulting our Lemon Imports Report.

*Please note that these lemon prices are from the USDA and include other costs. The prices are used to evaluate trends. They do not reflect the returns growers receive but rather voluntary prices reported to the USDA.
