Volume 48, No. 30 – July 24, 2025

Disclaimer: The navel prices listed below are reported to CCM from various industry representatives each week. The lemon and grapefruit prices are pulled from USDA and reflect the spot market price. Both sets of data represent a range of prices that are then calculated into an average. Growers should consult their packing houses if they have specific questions about the price their fruit is receiving.

Valencias

Prices remained fairly steady this week. Peak sizes were 88, followed by 113 and 72, respectively. Ulitzation is around 78% with a 67/33 fancy/choice split. We anticipate prices to increase in the coming weeks as schools go back.

Lemons

Prices rose once again last week for lemons, with choice 140s seeing the most significant increase. According to USDA pricing, lemons are an average of about 6$ higher than what we saw at the start of D2 harvests. However, we aren’t hearing from growers that returns have increased significantly and lemon growers continue to struggle to break even. On the brighter side, we haven’t heard as many reports of border patrol activity in D2 in recent weeks. For details about imports, we recommend consulting our Lemon Imports Report.

*Please note that these lemon prices are from the USDA and include other costs. The prices are used to evaluate trends. They do not reflect the returns growers receive but rather voluntary prices reported to the USDA.
