Earlier this week, CCM President/CEO Casey Creamer, along with Grower Services Director Michael Bliss and Governmental Affairs Director Jacob Villagomez, traveled down to district three to host a Grower Meeting at Bagdasarian Farms’ office in Mecca.
The conversational meeting allowed growers to ask questions and learn more about CCM’s advocacy work. Topics discussed included our current government relations strategy, collaboration with other commodity groups on common issues, tariffs and the sentiment in Sacramento and D.C. regarding the $1.2 billion trade deficit, Argentine imports, labor, immigration, and new leadership at DPR.
We want to thank all those in attendance for taking the time to talk with us and provide insights on what growers in District Three face on a daily basis.
Our next grower meeting will be back in district one, in Tulare County on June 4, 2025. We will be sharing more information about this meeting in the coming weeks.
