Thank you for attending the 2025 Citrus Showcase at the Visalia Convention Center last week. We were thrilled to have so many growers, exhibitors, sponsors and industry partners in attendance to enjoy a day of networking and education. Your support and participation continue to make this event a success each year.
The day started with Dr. Marissa Zansler, Director of Economic and Market Research at the Florida Department of Citrus. Given the recent increase in juice prices, it was interesting to get her analysis of the factors driving this market change and how California growers may be able to capitalize from it. If you would like to view or download a copy of Dr. Zansler’s presentation, click here.
Our expanded and sold-out tradeshow floor was a highlight of the day. There were many great conversations and plenty of traffic for exhibitors.

Once again, our industry luncheon was a sold-out event. Thank you to the Vintage Press for providing an excellent meal, as always, and to our luncheon speaker, Ray Starling, for his dynamic presentation. As the former assistant to President Trump on agriculture and agriculture trade, I found it interesting to get his take on the current state of affairs and insights into the current Trump administration.

The day also included a jam-packed continuing education course line-up covering the industry’s most pressing issues regarding pests, diseases, and regulations. Thank you to our continuing education partners, the California Association of Pest Control Advisors (CAPCA), for making this portion of the event possible.
