The Agricultural Energy Consumers Association (AECA) has asked for widespread participation in a survey (facilitated by CalPoly) to understand farmers’ and processors’ future electrical needs. Time and again, growers and processors are told PG&E or SCE cannot provide the power requested for new or expanded electrical loads.
Without better data, utilities cannot provide the energy distribution needed to meet the essential needs of farmers and processors. Participation is critical to ensuring that PG&E and SCE upgrade the electoral system in the Valley.
