We want to thank our southern California growers who participated in our Tuesday Grower meeting at the Citrus State Historic Park. During the meeting, CCM President Casey Creamer discussed the recent eradication of fruit flies from the area, which significantly affected our Riverside area growers. We were also happy to have several of our Directors present to talk with growers and share their first-hand experiences and expertise on industry issues such as crop and pest management.
Following the grower meeting, we held our August Board of Directors meeting. As a reminder, we recently opened our board meetings to members who wish to attend. In the coming months, we will share more information about our next board meeting, which will be held in Visalia in November.
