HLB Quarantine Expanded in Riverside County

On August 8, 2024, the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) announced the expansion of the HLB quarantine boundary in Los Angeles County and the riverside area of Riverside County. The expansion can be seen on grids 440 and 457 in Los Angeles County and grid 472 in Riverside County on CDFA’s HLB quarantine map.

The HLB quarantine expansion also triggers an expansion of the zone 6 Asian Citrus Psyllid Bulk Citrus Regional Quarantine in the Riverside area of Riverside County to reflect the HLB quarantine boundary expansion. We want to remind growers, harvesters and shippers to educate themselves on the regulations in place to ensure they remain compliant. More information and a map of the expanded boundary can be found here.
