Young Orchard Water and Nutrient Management Workshops Offered in Fresno and Bakersfield

Growers, certified crop advisers, and other agricultural professionals are encouraged to attend the UC Cooperative Extension’s free workshops on young orchard water and nutrient management. Presentations by various experts and researchers will focus on the best irrigation and nutrient management practices tailored for young orchards in the San Joaquin Valley. Specific crops to be covered will include citrus, almonds, pistachios, walnuts, and olives.

Attendees may also request one-on-one assistance from a UCCE farm advisor. The workshops are free and include coffee breaks, lunch, workshop materials, and presentations. Advanced registration is required. 3.5 CEU Credits are approved.
