Chile Citrus Committee Publishes 2024 Export Estimate

Chile’s Fruit Exporters Association recently published the Chilean Citrus Fruit Committee’s estimate for citrus exports in the 2024 season. Total export volume is expected to reach 383,000 tons, a 4% decline compared to 2023. The committee’s estimate for the 2024 season includes the following:

  • Oranges: -2% to 93,000 tons
  • Mandarins: -9% to 160,000 tons
  • Lemons: +33% to 90,000 tons

Chilean lemons are typically available from May to October, while oranges are available from June to November.
