A cold air front is expected to hit California early next week. Chief Meteorologist Scott Borgioli forecasts subfreezing temperatures beginning Sunday, January 7 through Tuesday January 9, 2024. Cold temperatures are anticipated to be followed by a small rainstorm, then more potential freezing on Thursday the 11 and Friday 12. The coldest spots could potentially see lows of 25/26/27.
We encourage growers to sign up for our free Weather Watch daily email alerts in order to receive Borgioli’s morning reports which include a detailed 16-day outlook directly to your inbox. We think these reports have great value to growers as Borgioli was the first to forecast this upcoming cold front back on December 26 and 27 in his 16-day outlook.
