In response to the growing exotic fruit fly problem the California Citrus Pest & Diseases Prevention Program recently published a Citrus Industry Guide to Fruit Fly Quarantines.
The guide provides information on California counties currently impacted by fruit fly quarantines, bulk citrus movement requirements in fruit fly quarantine zones, and other frequently asked questions.
If your citrus operations have been impacted by one of these quarantines or you are near a quarantine zone, we encourage you to view this guide to make sure you are up to date on all regulatory requirements in place to stop the spread of exotic fruit flies. To view the guide click here.
If you are unsure of quarantine boundaries in relation to your citrus operations, please view our interactive GIS map here.
Please note that the map may take a few seconds to populate. Quarantine layers can be viewed by activating them in the layers tab located in the upper right corner of the map.
