Grower Participation Requested for Citrus Lifecycle Analysis Survey

The Citrus Research Board (CRB) and University of California Davis are requesting grower assistance in collecting baseline data for a California citrus industry-wide life cycle analysis project.

The project seeks to quantify the net environmental benefits and impacts of citrus production, including aspects such as water and electricity usage, grove management practices, and fertilizer applications in a typical citrus production year. Through this survey CRB hopes to address questions posed by retailers regarding the industry’s sustainability efforts and generate industry-wide environmental performance indicators and highlight the benefits of citrus production in California.

If you completed a similar survey from Sunkist, your information will be used in this project, and there is no need to take this survey a second time.
