California Secures Major Disaster Declaration to Aid Tropical Storm Hilary Recovery Efforts

Last week the White House approved California’s request for a major disaster declaration to support Tropical Storm Hilary recovery efforts. The declaration will unlock additional Federal Emergency Management Agency funding to supplement state, tribal and local rehabilitation work in areas most effected by the storm. Imperial, Kern and Riverside Counties will each receive additional funding on a cost-sharing basis to aid recovery efforts.
