Thank you to everyone who joined us last Thursday at the Visalia Convention Center for our Annual Meeting. This year marked 46 years of service to the citrus industry, a feat that would not be possible without the support of our growers and industry partners. We thank you for your support as we work to protect and enhance the viability of California’s citrus growers.
This year’s event had just over 300 attendees. It is an honor to have so many friends, colleagues and partners to celebrate the resilience of our industry with. This year has brought its fair share of trials to the industry. In an effort to provide guests with a laugh in the face of so many challenges we were excited to host comedian Johnny Sanchez as the night’s entertainment.
During the program President/CEO Casey Creamer also honored CCM Membership Coordinator Barbara O’Dell. Barbara has been a dedicated member of the CCM team for 20 years and will be retiring at the end of the year. We would like to thank Barbara for her service to the industry and wish her the best in this new chapter.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to outgoing board members Gus Carranza, Matt Fisher, John S. Gless, Carlos Gutierrez and Brian Neufeld for the time and expertise they dedicated to our organization.
