Don Schroeder passed away on October 24, 2023, at the age of 96. Don was a founding director of CCM back in 1977 and served as the board’s second Chairman from 1981 – 1984. Don was a key founding director who understood that a collective and cohesive voice would help growers overcome the significant challenges the industry faced at the time.
Don was a highly respected member of the citrus community and of the valley’s agriculture industry as a whole. Last year we had the pleasure of featuring Don in a video highlighting CCM’s creation and the founders who made it happen. If you would like to view the video, please click here.
A service honoring Don will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Smith Mountain Cemetery, 42088 Road 100, Dinuba, California.
