CRB: Industry Relevancy Review Panelist Recruitment

The USDA-National Institute of Food and Agriculture (USDA-NIFA) Emergency Citrus Disease Research and Extension (ECDRE) Program works to provide grants to support research and extension efforts towards developing solutions for Huanglongbing/citrus greening. The industry relevancy review ensures that the research and outreach activities proposed are of significant value and impact to the U.S. citrus industry.

The ECDRE Program is recruiting citrus growers that might be interested in serving as panelists on the industry relevancy panel. The industry relevancy panel involves a 30-minute orientation virtual webinar, reviewing about 15 three-page pre-proposals, and a half day virtual commitment in early May to have a general discussion with the other panelists and decide which pre-proposal to invite for full application.

If you or someone you know is interested in serving as a panelist, please email Marcy L. Martin, President of the CRB, at marcy@citrusresearch.org.
