Last Friday the CCM team headed to River Island Country Club in Porterville for the 2022 Kick-Off Classic Golf Tournament. This tournament is held annually to raise funds for CCM’s Political Action Committee.
This year we had just under 100 golfers join us from throughout the citrus industry and our allied partners. Despite the heat, the tournament was a success and participants seemed to enjoy a fun day on the golf course with friends, colleagues and CCM staff.
First place in the bracket one went to Booth Ranches and second place went to Calpine Containers. In the second bracket Helena and Villa Park Orchards tied for first place. The third bracket winner was Peltzer Ranches followed by Pro Citrus Network. Michelle Smith and Jeff Merritt were the winners of the longest drive contest and the closest to the pin award went to Bobby Hines.
