Farm groups are pleased with President Biden’s plans to nominate Alexis Taylor to undersecretary for trade and foreign agricultural affairs, a top U.S. Department of Agriculture trade post. In this new position Taylor would help steer the USDA’s trade policy by facilitating foreign market access and helping create opportunities abroad for U.S. agriculture.
Taylor currently works as the Oregon Department of Agriculture Executive Director where she works to promote food and farming. Learn more here.
