COVID-19 Updates

California Citrus Mutual has taken COVID-19 into account and is following all state and local government guidance. We have extended the tradeshow aisles to allow for social distancing; we will have sanitizing stations throughout the Convention Center. In addition, we are asking everyone to complete a brief non-mandatory health questionnaire before entering the event.

Spray Safe Event – Wednesday, March 2 from 8:00 a.m. to noon

On Wednesday, March 2nd, we will kick off the Showcase with a Spray Safe Event. Leaders from the County Agricultural Commissioner Offices will be presenting. Continuing Education hours will be available, but space is limited. You can find more information on the class offerings and credit classifications on the schedule below.

Chairman’s Breakfast – Thursday, March 3 at 7:30 a.m.

The traditional Showcase will begin with opening remarks by Chairman Matt Fisher and will be followed by Roland Fumasi, EVP, and North American Regional Head for RaboResearch Food & Agribusiness. Dr. Fumasi will review key drivers affecting agriculture and give an economic forecast for the prospects of citrus production in California.

The Chairman’s Breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. Tickets are $50 per person with priority for members of CCM. If you would like to reserve a table, please ensure all guests are registered for the event and email your table list to showcase@cacitrusmutual.com.

Tradeshow – Thursday, March 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The exhibit hall will open on Thursday, March 3rd, at 8:30 a.m. and closes at 4:00 p.m. This event is open and free, but registration is required in advance or upon arrival to enter the tradeshow floor. The tradeshow will feature over 100 exhibitors from agriculture technology, pest management, transportation, nurseries, realty, and insurance. We’ve added lounge space within the exhibit hall for attendees to relax and meet with colleagues.

Luncheon Keynote Speaker

We are honored to have Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis as this year’s Keynote Speaker! As the Lieutenant Governor of California, Kounalakis was also appointed as California’s representative for International Affairs and Trade. Kounalakis has a strong business background as the former President of AKT Development and has a strong interest in agriculture, succeeding in California. Come hear first-hand what an influential leader in California has to say about the future of California citrus!

The luncheon will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the Charter Oak Ballroom. Luncheon Tickets are on sale starting today at an early bird price of $75 and will go up to $100 after February 15th, priority will go to CCM members.
