Fresno County Begins Pre-Event Registration for Pfizer Vaccine Booster Shots

The FDA and CDC recently approved Pfizer vaccine boosters to be administered six months following the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine for only individuals who meet specific eligibility criteria.

See the following CDC link that lists who is eligible for a Pfizer vaccine booster at this time: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/booster-shot.html

*As noted in the CDC link above, individuals aged 18+ who work in high-risk settings, such as food and agriculture, are eligible to receive a Pfizer booster. Again, this is only for individuals who received the Pfizer vaccine.

We anticipate receiving guidance from the FDA and CDC about boosters for those who received Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines over the next few weeks.
