California Citrus Mutual, along with multiple agricultural organizations, sent a letter to the Environmental Protection Agency addressing their “recent decision to revoke tolerances of chlorpyrifos and the manner in which the revocation was conducted.” They stated that the Administration did not use the best available science in their decision to cancel Chlorpyrifos.
The letter addressed that the “EPA’s actions have put growers, agricultural stakeholders, and supply chains in an unfair and impossible position through no fault of their own.” To read the full letter, please click here.
