Today Cal/OSHA issued a News Release regarding high heat advisories as temperatures are forecasted to exceed 100 degrees in many parts of the state this week.  The National Weather Service has issued heat advisories due to high temperatures ranging from San Bernardino to Alameda Counties.  Cal/OSHA reminds employers that its Heat Illness Prevention Standard applies to all outdoor workers, including those in agriculture and that certain requirements apply when temperatures exceed 80 degrees in Fahrenheit and additional protections apply if the temperature exceeds 95 degrees.
