Tulare County Growers: AG Employers Survey for Phase 1B COVID19 Vaccine Availability

Hello Agriculture Employers:

As the distribution of the COVID19 vaccine begins, the Dept. of Public Health is following CDC Phase categories and CDPH tier categories to reach the prioritized populations as the vaccine becomes available.

Food and Agricultural Workers are one of the demographics that have been identified as Phase 1b and are eligible to receive the vaccine in the next two-three weeks. Receiving the COVID19 vaccine is optional and completely voluntary.You are receiving this email because you own or operate a business that will be elgibile to participate in receiving the COVID19 vaccine for the Food and Ag Workers you employ.

Below is a link to a survey that is critical for you to complete. It is assisting public health to identify the number of vaccines needed for rollout.  Also included below is a link for more information about the vaccine and frequently asked questions to help inform you and your employees about the vaccine. Lastly, we will be sending additional information on times, days, and locations for the vaccine in the near future, please be on the lookout for this information.

The survey is only to be filled out by the Employer, on behalf of their workforce. In order to respond you will need to be able to identify the number of workers you anticipate will be interested in receiving the vaccine, on a voluntary basis.
