The end of 2020 is finally upon us. Three weeks to slow the spread has turned into the longest and most difficult year, many of us will ever face. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought many challenges to our businesses, but also several opportunities. The industry rose to the challenge and adapted our businesses to meet the crisis head-on. We saw improvement in the marketplace for most and government assistance for those who suffered losses. We witnessed an industry rise to protect our essential employees and continue to adapt to meet changing guidance. We have a lot to be proud of and to be thankful for as we prepare for 2021.
We know that our challenges will not fade away with dropping the ball in Times Square, and with a new year comes new issues. A different administration will soon occur in Washington, D.C., and we will continue to navigate the California business climate. However, I am optimistic that there will also be opportunities if we all rise to the occasion.
We have accomplished a lot together in the past year, but we are never satisfied. The team here at CCM is committed to continuous improvement. We hope you saw that this past year and will continue to hold us accountable for that in the coming year. As always, thank you for your continued support. May you all have a safe and Happy New Year!
