The last several years have seen dramatic shifts in citrus pricing. Crop sizes, imports, and tariffs on exports figured into that volatility. Another variable has been changing consumer habits. Prior to the global pandemic, consumer purchasing has leveled off for citrus and other fruits and vegetables. The COVID-19 pandemic has led to increases in demand for citrus products as consumer behavior has drastically changed. Our featured speaker, Megan Timms, will focus on these changes in consumer behavior for the citrus category due to COVID-19 and her thoughts on how the industry can capitalize on this revitalized market.
President Casey Creamer will also provide an overview of the activities of California Citrus Mutual. The event will be moderated by Chairman Matt Fisher and will conclude with his Chairman’s remarks.
