Prop 15 is a Tax Hike on Ag – Support our Campaign Today

Prop 15 proposes the largest property tax increase in California history and will trigger reassessments at market value for agriculture-related facilities and improvements.  While every tax situation is unique, it’s clear that all growers and packers will be impacted if Prop 15 passes this November.

Agriculture is more united than ever against Prop 15. Already, the industry has collectively raised and spent over $2 million in an effort to defeat Prop 15.  CCM is participating in and supporting the Alliance of California Farmers and Ranchers Against Higher Property Taxes effort in collaboration with dozens of industry groups and individual producers.  We strongly urge our members and allied industry to support our campaign to stop Prop 15!

According to current polling, Prop 15 is one of, if not the most, contested issues on the November ballot with nearly an even number of surveyed voters in support and against. As election day nears, it’s imperative that we continue to our efforts. Every ad buy, mail piece, and commercial is an opportunity to win.
