Are you interested in joining a CCM Committee?

During October, CCM will be reorganizing our committees. We are looking for members who wish to make a difference in the industry and help drive our association’s actions and policies on various issues. Committees are responsible for addressing the issues in their area of expertise and providing a recommended course of action to staff and the Board of Directors.

Standing committees include – Resource: air, water, pesticides, sustainability, and land issues; Labor: laws and regulation evaluation from both a Washington, D.C., and Sacramento perspective; Government Relations:  addressing legislative challenges at both the federal and state levels; Marketing:  reviewing varietal and season status while addressing dynamics that affect the economic climate; Communications; leading staff in the development of image and content for both the industry and government officials.

A CCM director chairs each committee, and the committee consists of both directors and grower members. There is a cap on the number of committee members allowed to keep meetings on track. If you are interested in joining one of these committees, contact Alexis Silveira, Communications Manager at Alexis@CaCitrusMutual.com or (559) 592-3790.
