We also want to extend our sincerest gratitude to Orange Cove-Sanger Citrus Association for their generous sponsorship of Citrus Stride!

We started Citrus Stride 5 years ago as a way to connect the citrus industry with Sacramento policy makers around a shared interest in supporting rural communities by giving to community food banks.  The event is traditionally held each Spring in Sacramento and consists of a 1-mile walk around the State Capitol.  This year, due to COVID-19 restrictions, Citrus Stride will be held virtually! We are excited to bring this event to life in a fun, unique way and continue the tradition of connecting the industry to legislators! Participants are encouraged to share their Citrus Stride experience on social media using the hashtag #VirtualCitrusStride.  You can also email us photos at ccm@cacitrusmutua.com.

This is a family event! Register for yourself and your family members at www.citrusstride.com.

Legislators, policy makers, agency representatives, and government staff are invited to participate virtually alongside citrus growers and their families.

Citrus Stride is an annual event hosted by California’s citrus growers in partnership with community food banks to raise awareness about food insecurity.  For every participant, we pledge to donate 1,000 pounds to community food banks through the Farm to Family Program.
