Interested in joining a CCM Committee?

During the month of October CCM will be reorganizing our committees. We are looking for members who wish to make a difference in the industry and help drive our association’s actions and policies on various issues. Committees are responsible for addressing the issues in their area of expertise and providing a recommended course of action to staff and the Board of Directors.

Standing committees include – Resource: air, water, pesticides, sustainability and land issues; Labor: laws and regulation evaluation from both a Washington, D.C. and Sacramento perspective; Government Relations:  addressing legislative challenges at both the federal and state levels; Marketing:  reviewing varietal and season status while addressing dynamics that affect the economic climate; Communications; leading staff in the development of image and content for both the industry and government officials.

Each committee is chaired by a CCM director and the committee consists of both directors and grower members. There is a cap on the number of committee members allowed to keep meetings on track. If you are interested in joining one of these committees, contact Alexis Silveira, Communications Manager at or (559) 592-3790.
