As previously announced, Casey Creamer is the new President and CEO of California Citrus Mutual. Casey has extensive experience in the legislative and regulatory arenas and has been able to affect positive change during contentious negotiations on issues that affect agriculture. Casey will share his vision on how CCM will address the industry’s most challenging issues during the luncheon program.
There are also big changes in Sacramento as Democrats have a firm hold of a super majority and a new Governor has been sworn in. Louie Brown, a partner with the firm Kahn, Soares and Conway and a leading agricultural advocate, will join Casey in sharing his insights from Sacramento. Louie will highlight how agriculture can adapt to affect positive change within an urban focused legislature, a socially progressive new Governor, and an unknown administration.
The luncheon program is guaranteed to be insightful and potentially a little uncomfortable. Change is never easy, but it is the only constant. The keys to successful change are defining the goals and then the right pathways to achieve those goals. Come join us for a great lunch as the CCM and lobbyist leadership teams give their fresh perspective on the pathways to sustain the citrus industry into the future.
Luncheon tickets are $40 and can be purchased by contacting California Citrus Mutual at (559) 592-3790. Tables of 8 and 10 are available.
